Description

This is a cottage from the 17th or 18th century located in Warkton. It is built from coursed limestone rubble and features a thatched roof. There is a brick stack on the left end and a large stone ridge stack with a tapering brick shaft, with the roof slightly lower on the right side. The cottage has one storey and an attic. On the ground floor, there is a 20th-century door to the left of the stack, along with 20th-century casement windows that have wooden lintels. In the attic, there are three two-foot light casement windows: two in a single row, known as "eyebrow," to the left of centre and one to the right. To the right, there is a small 20th-century gabled addition with a pantiled roof. The interior has not been inspected.
