Description

No. 27 is a cottage from the mid-19th century, constructed of coursed limestone rubble and topped with a spiky pantile roof featuring barge-boards. The building has stone end stacks with brick shafts and is one storey high with an attic. The central entrance consists of a panelled and part-glazed door situated beneath a gabled hood. On either side of the door, there are two-light lattice leaded casement windows, each with wooden lintels and stone relieving arches. The attic features two smaller windows in gabled dormers, along with a central flat-roofed dormer added in the 20th century. This cottage is included for its group value.
