Description
Marston View and The Green is a house that has been divided into two separate homes. It dates back to the 17th century and has undergone significant alterations in the early 19th and 20th centuries. The building features square panelled timber-framing with painted brick infill, a sandstone rubble plinth, and stacks with brick shafts, all topped with Welsh slate roofs. The main wing runs north to south (The Green), with a cross-wing to the south (Marston View). It has end and axial stacks, with entrances located to the east and south. The house is two storeys tall, and the south front displays two 3-light 20th-century windows, with similar windows flanking a 20th-century door.
