Description
Marston Court is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with late 19th and 20th century alterations and additions. The building features a timber frame with sections of brick and wattle-and-daub infill, and the south front is completely rendered. It has a tiled roof and an irregular plan, with the main range aligned north to south and cross-wings at the south end. There are axial stacks and entrances located to the south and east. The two-storey cross-wings to the south include a four-light and a two-light casement window on both floors to the right of the doorway, which has a gabled canopy and a panelled door. There is a three-light casement window on the return face of the second wing to the left. A heavy ledged door with strap hinges provides access to the entrance of a single storey and attic range at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
