Description
19 and 19A Burgess Street is a house that has been converted into an office and dwelling. It dates back to the 17th century and features a timber-frame structure with roughcast exterior and a plain tile roof that includes some older tiles. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range. The windows are 19th-century two-light casements set in simple architraves, and to the right, there is a 20th-century three-light casement. There are also two roof dormers with two-light casements located under deep eaves.
The early 20th-century shop front has a central half-glazed moulded-panel door with a plain overlight, flanked by plate-glass windows. To the right, there is a 20th-century half-glazed door with an overlight. The shop front features a moulded fascia-board and hood supported by panelled pilasters. On the right side of the building, there is an exposed arch-brace. The interior has not been inspected.
