Description

19 and 19A Wormgate is a shop building from the early 19th century, with some minor alterations made in the 20th century. The exterior features painted brick and a concrete tiled hipped roof, with a cement rendered ground floor. The building has two storeys and a two-bay front, with rounded corners on the left side where there is a 20th-century door. On the right side, there is a 20th-century fixed light, while the left side has two plain sash windows with reeded surrounds. The frieze above the windows is reeded and plain, bowing over the windows and around the corner, and includes a narrow moulded fascia. On the first floor, there are two plain sash windows with cambered heads, and a flat-headed opening with a divided sash on the right return. The interior has not been inspected.
