Description
No. 33 Wormgate is a shop and flats built in the late 18th century, with some alterations from the 19th century. The building is constructed of red and brown brick, featuring painted stucco dressings and a part-hipped pantile roof with a single gable stack on the left side.
The exterior has three storeys and a single bay front. The 19th-century shop front includes a half-glazed door with a plain overlight, and a shop window with a panelled stall riser. Plain pilasters support a narrow fascia and cornice. On the first floor, there is a margin-light sash window, and on the second floor, there is a smaller similar window, both of which have flat stucco wedge lintels. The interior has not been inspected.
