Description
Numbers 47 and 49 are a pair of houses and a shop, dating from the late 18th century. They are built of red and brown brick and feature a pantile roof with brick coped gables.
The exterior consists of three storeys with a three-bay front and a two-storey single bay wing on the right. There is a small plinth and a moulded fascia. To the left, there is a 19th-century shop doorway with wide pilasters, a fascia, and a cornice. On the right, a 20th-century half-glazed door has an overlight and two margin light sashes. The first floor has four margin light sashes arranged in a 3:1 pattern, while the second floor features two smaller margin light sashes at each end. The sash windows are topped with rubbed brick wedge lintels, and a Yorkshire sash is located in the gable of the two-storey range.
The interior has not been inspected. Additionally, there is a tall yard wall to the left, which has two panelled openings and a stucco lintel. The wall is stone coped and topped with decorative iron railings.
