Description

This 18th-century field barn is located approximately 90 meters west of Stockton Bury Farmhouse. It is constructed from sandstone rubble and features a stone slate roof. The barn consists of four bays with a central threshing floor, which is flanked by four rows of alternating triangular vents. The structure includes inclined strut trusses. This barn is noted for being an intact example of an 18th-century field barn.
