Description
This is an 18th-century barn located approximately 10 metres north of Pound Farmhouse. The barn is constructed of coursed sandstone rubble with a gabled roof covered in corrugated iron. It follows a 5-bay plan, incorporating a central threshing floor. There are full-height double entrances to the threshing bay. The barn has tall ventilation slits, and brick surrounds to owl holes positioned in the gable ends. The interior features an 18th-century collar-truss roof. The barn is included in the listing for its group value.
