Description
This is an 18th-century barn located approximately 50 meters north of Greenway Farmhouse. It is constructed from sandstone rubble and has a slate roof. The barn has a rectangular plan that is aligned north-west to south-east and consists of seven bays, with a central threshing floor situated in the third bay from the south-east end.
There are two rows of loop vents and two partially blocked inserted openings on the north-west side of the entrance. The gable ends feature a symmetrical arrangement of loop vents along with square owl holes. Inside, the barn has collar-and-tie-beam trusses with inclined struts, and low walls that separate the threshing floor from the rest of the barn, which now has a raised floor level.
