Farmhouse. Late C16 or early C17 wing remaining of house, remodelled mainly during early and mid-C19. Sandstone rubble, part rendered to main front, slate roofs, part hipped to rear. Central range aligned north-west/south-east facing north-east, flanked by forward projecting cross-wings with late C16 cross-wing to north-west. Two lateral stacks to north-west return of C16 cross-wing with further stacks to central range and to south-east wing, entrance towards north-west of central range. Two storeys and attics and basement; 1:2:1 windows, 2-light cross-casement windows partly with leaded lights and flat arches to first floor, 3-light windows to ground floor with cambered heads, 2-light stone mullioned windows light attics in gables. Right of centre doorway with canopy and 4-panelled door. North-west return of C16 cross- wing with further single light and 2- and 3-light stone mullioned windows now mainly blocked, lateral stacks with two rebuilt octagonal plan shafts, square-headed door to basement with heavy ledged door.
