Description

The Doward Hotel is a house built around 1800, with alterations made in the 20th century. It features painted brickwork and a tiled roof from the 20th century. The building has a double range layout with a central entrance and end stacks. It is two storeys high and has five windows, all of which are glazing bar sash windows. On the ground floor, to the right of the entrance, there is a 20th-century bow window extension. The entrance is accentuated by a Tuscan portico, a plain fanlight, and a 20th-century six-panelled door.
