Description

This is a barn located approximately 60 meters northeast of Lewstone Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century and altered over time. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a corrugated metal roof. The barn has a rectangular plan that is aligned southwest to northeast and consists of three bays with a central threshing floor. There are slatted vents positioned above the doors and a row of loop vents along the sides, as well as square owl holes in the gables. The interior includes collar-and-tie-beam trusses supported by inclined struts.
