Description
Stockton Terrace is a range of two tenements dating from the 17th century, with later additions and alterations from the late 18th or early 19th century. The earlier section is timber-framed with painted brick infill and a sandstone rubble plinth, while the later additions feature a mix of Welsh slate and tiled roofs. The building has three framed bays, with part of the structure refaced in rubble, aligned north to south, and a rubble addition at the north end. There are gable-end and axial stacks, with entrances located on the west front. The building stands two storeys high and has five 4-pane casement windows on the first floor. The ground floor features 2-light casement windows with segmental heads flanking a doorway with a similar head, and a ledged door to the left. To the left of this door is one 6-pane window and a single-light window, while to the right are a similar 6-pane window and a 4-pane window next to another ledged door. The interior has not been inspected.
