Description
Lower Stockton is a house dating from the 17th century, with 20th century alterations. It features a timber frame with brick infill, a sandstone rubble plinth, and stacks with brick shafts. The roof is part-hipped and covered with Welsh slate. The house has three framed bays arranged in a north-west/south-east orientation, with the main entrance on the north-east front. It is two storeys high and has two 3-light 20th century casement windows to the left, and one 2-light casement window to the right of a similar casement window that is slightly projecting above the entrance. The ground floor has similar 3-light windows to the left and a 2-light window to the right of a 20th century Tudor arched entrance, which has an inner 20th century ledged door. The interior is not accessible.
