Description

These stables, located approximately 20 metres north-west of Redcastle Farmhouse, date from the late 17th century or early 18th century. They are timber-framed with 20th-century brick infill and feature a tiled roof. The structure consists of two framed bays aligned north to south, each with a doorway. The building is two storeys high and has three square panels from the sill to the wall-plate, with V-struts in the gable. The interior was inaccessible at the time of the re-survey. Redcastle Farmhouse is not included in this listing.
