House with adjoining forge. C17 house with late C19 additions. Timber- framed with wattle-and-daub infill, C20 asbestos roof, sandstone plinth. Two framed bays aligned east/west with gable end stacks and rear lean-to, entrance through lean-to, former forge adjoins to west. Single storey, attic and cellar, two 2-light casement windows, central steps down to cellar doorway, gable lit attic. Framing largely complete, three square panels from sill to wall-plate, V-struts in gable. Adjoining outbuilding retains former furnace and bellows.
