Description

This is a timber-framed office building at Markham's Garage, originally constructed in the 17th century, with some alterations made in the mid-20th century. The structure features a timber frame with rendered infill, set on a rendered plinth, and topped with a machine-tile roof. It has three framed bays that run east to west. The north front is two storeys high and includes three windows: two 2-light casements on the left and a 3-light casement on the right. The ground floor has three large fixed windows with plank weatherings. The entrance, located to the right of centre, has a 20th-century panelled door. This building is included for its group value.
