Description
The Woodings is a house dating from the 17th or 18th century, which has been altered and extended in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with rendered infill, a sandstone plinth, and stacks with a brick shaft, all topped by a tiled roof. The house has three framed bays that are aligned north-east to south-west and face north-west, with a rear extension added in the 20th century. The main entrance is located in this extension, and there is a stack at the south-west gable end. The north-west front is two storeys high and has two 2-light casement windows. The framing is mostly intact, consisting of four panels from the sill to the wall-plate, with braces to the wall-plate and additional diagonal braces from the sill to the main post, along with weathering on the gable.
