Description

This is a probable 18th-century house located on Pow Green in Bosbury. It is timber-framed with painted brick infill, and features a sandstone plinth, a chimney stack, and a detached brick shaft. The roof is thatched. The house has two framed bays aligned north-west/south-east, facing northeast. A south-east gable entry provides access, with a stack and attached bread oven on the south-east gable end, and a lean-to addition with a further lateral stack to the rear. It is a single-story building with a gable-lit attic, incorporating two two-light casement windows, and a lean-to porch with a ledged door. The timber framing appears largely complete, typically featuring three square panels from sill to wall-plate, with continuous weathering at lintel level.
