Description

Norbridge Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse, possibly with earlier origins, and altered in the 20th century. It is timber-framed with painted brick infill, a rendered south front, and a slate roof. The house originally comprised two framed bays, with a catslide roof extending to the rear (north). An east gable entry is present, along with an east gable end stack. The farmhouse has two storeys, featuring two 2-light windows on the upper floor and a 4-panelled door with a canopy supported by brackets at the east gable end. The timber framing is largely complete, with alterations and a raised roof. Irregular four-square panels from sill to tie-beam are visible in the east gable end.
