Description

High House is a cottage dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and wattle and daub panels, topped with an asbestos tiled roof. The building has one storey and an attic, featuring three bays with regularly placed six-pane casements, one in each bay of the ground floor, and two gabled dormers in the attic. The entrance is through a glazed gabled porch added around 1980, located at the right-hand bay. The frame consists of three panels high, made from narrow timber scantling.
