Description
Green Farmhouse is a farmhouse that possibly dates back to the 17th century, with mid-19th century additions and 20th century alterations. It features a timber frame with painted brick infill and a slate roof, along with brick additions that have tiled roofs. The building has a sandstone stack and a brick chimney.
The structure consists of three framed bays that are aligned east to west and face south, with later additions to the west and at the rear. There is a central entrance and a large external lateral stack at the rear. The farmhouse is single storey with an attic, featuring three gabled dormers that have 20th century two- and three-light windows. The ground floor has similar windows flanking a porch with a partly glazed door. To the left, there is a brick addition that has a dentilled eaves cornice and two two-light casement windows with cambered heads.
