Description
This is a barn located about 40 yards east of Hazle Farmhouse, likely built in the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed from sandstone rubble and has a corrugated iron roof. The barn has four bays that are aligned in a north-east to south-west direction. The north-west elevation features a full-height entry to the threshing floor in the second bay from the right. To the left of this entry, there is a rubble lean-to with a tile roof, and to the right, there is a lean-to made of corrugated iron. The north gable of the barn has three ventilator slits: one near the bottom and two symmetrically placed above. This barn is included for its group value.
