8/62 Barn about 50 yards south-east of Hill Farmhouse

Barn. Probably early C19. Sandstone rubble, brick and tiled roof. Three bays aligned north-west/south-west. North-west elevation has full-height ledged doors to threshing floor in centre bay, diamond-shaped ventilator pattern to right of doors; south-west gable has brick ventilator panels. Interior: pegged trusses with angle braces and queen struts from ties to collars and principals. Forms a group with barn (qv) to south-west of Hill Farmhouse (not included). Included for group value.
