Description

Greenway Cottage is a house, likely dating from the 18th century. It is timber-framed with a roughcast base, and has a tiled roof. There are external stone stacks, one with a brick shaft to the right and another to the rear. The house is arranged in an L-shape, with a three-bay range roughly aligned north/south. It is one storey high with an attic. The west elevation has two canted bay windows added in the early 20th century, as well as two dormers with 2-light casement windows. A late 20th-century door is located to the left of centre. The timber frame is one panel high from the base to the wall plate and includes diagonal struts to the corner posts. A lean-to extension to the left is likely from the 20th century, incorporating a contemporary casement window.
