Description

BODENHAM CP BODENHAM MOOR SO 55 SW 5/29 Bower Cottage II House. Probably late C17 with mid-C19 and mid-C20 alterations. Timber- framed with rendered infill, some sandstone walling and corrugated iron cladding and shingle roof with brick stack at left end of ridge. Two framed bays aligned east/west. Single storey and attic with dormers. Framing: three panels from sill to wall-plate. South front elevation: ground floor has a 2-light C19 and 3-light casement; two gabled dormers with 2-light casements. Large central C20 glazed porch with half-glazed C20 door within. Rubble lean-to outshut at west end with ledged and battened door to south. Also timber-framed lean-to outshut to rear of east bay.
