Description

The building at Rhonville is a cottage, likely dating from the late 17th to early 18th century. It is constructed using a timber-frame with brick and plaster infill, covered by a slate roof and featuring end stacks. The cottage originally comprised three structural bays aligned roughly north/south. It is a single-storey building with an attic. There are two windows on the west elevation, which features early 20th-century casement windows symmetrically placed. The west elevation also has raking-top dormers and a gabled porch with lattice detailing, added in the early 20th century, to the right of centre. The timber frame is three panels high from the cill to the wall-plate.
