Description
Street Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It features a timber frame set on a high rubble plinth, with a tiled roof and an external stone stack that has a detached brick shaft. The building has a rectangular plan consisting of three structural bays aligned roughly north to south and is two storeys tall.
On the west elevation, which faces away from the road, there is one window: a 2-light late 19th century casement window in the center and an 8-pane fixed light window to the right. Between these two windows is an early 20th century glazed door. The left side of the elevation is obscured by the side stack, which projects from it, and there is a single-storey mid-19th century outbuilding attached (not included in the listing). The timber frame consists of two panels high from the high plinth to the wall-plate and features angle struts at most of the corner posts.
