Description

Rose Cottage is a house that likely dates from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It features a timber-frame structure with a tiled roof that is half-hipped to the right and has a stone external stack on the left side. The building has one storey and an attic, with two windows on the front. The ground floor includes three late 20th century casements, with the central window set in a gabled mid-20th century porch. There are also two windows in the dormers, and the entrance is located on the left side of the porch. The timber frame is of regular scantling on the left and center sections but is uneven and thinner on the right, which likely indicates that the house was built in two phases.
