Description

Pound Cottage is a cottage likely dating from the 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame, brick and plaster infill, and has a slate roof with a brick end stack on the right side. The original cottage comprises one bay and one storey with an attic. A gabled dormer window was added in the late 20th century to the left side, along with two contemporary casement windows below. The entrance is located towards the right centre, featuring a late 20th-century door and a gabled canopy. The timber frame rises in three panels to the wall plate. Single-storey extensions were added in the 20th century to the left and right sides, with the right-hand extension enveloping the end stack.
