Description

Bodenham Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a hipped tiled roof with brick end stacks. The building has a rectangular plan, with the main front facing south-east. It stands two storeys high with an attic and consists of three bays. The windows are segmentally-headed 3-light iron casements, with the one above the door having two lights. There is a dentilled brick eaves cornice beneath a small dentilled pediment that centrally encloses a thermal window. A central late 19th-century latticed porch adds to the entrance. At the rear, there is a full-width catslide extension from the early 19th century. The farmhouse is part of a picturesque group that includes a nearby barn, cider house, and wainhouse.
