Ivy Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It features a timber-frame structure with painted brick and a thatched half-hipped roof, along with end wall stacks. The building is two stories high and has a three-window range of leaded casement pairs, with a central door on the ground floor set within a slate-roofed porch. The south gable end is tile-hung, while the rear wall displays exposed framing, with two casement pairs above and a pair and a triple casement below.
