Description

Homend Cottages is a house dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with alterations made in the mid to late 19th century. The building is timber-framed, with sections of brick and wattle-and-daub infill, and features a sandstone plinth and stack. It has a slate roof and consists of two framed bays oriented east to west, facing south, with an additional section added to the west. The house is single storey with an attic, and includes two dormers that have 2-light casement windows. There are also similar 2-light windows on either side of a gabled porch, which has a ledged door.
