Description

Lodge Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It has a timber frame with plaster and a thatched roof. The building is single storey with an attic and features a two-window range with two-light and three-light casements. The doorway is asymmetrical and has a modern boarded door. There are two gabled dormers with plain tiled roofs and scalloped bargeboards at the gable ends. Inside, there is an internal stack with a brick dentil cornice and two mid-19th century octagonal flues that have moulded brick bases and caps. Additionally, there is a single storey extension from the mid-20th century on the right-hand side.
