Description

The Crooked House is a house dating to the late 16th or early 17th century. It is timber-framed and originally plastered, with a pantiled roof. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and has a two-window front with three-light casement windows. An internal stack is present. A modern, single-storey wing has been added to the right-hand side, featuring a mid-20th century window and half-door. Inside, the house retains good exposed timberwork and a newel staircase, along with a clasped purlin roof.
