Description

Bayntun Cottage is a house from the early to mid 19th century, constructed of red brick and topped with slate roofs. It stands two storeys high and consists of two sections. The original section on the left features a three-window range, a west end stack, cambered head 16-pane sashes, a raised band, dentilled eaves, and a six-panel door set in a gabled porch. To the right is a slightly taller one-window addition that has a similar raised band and eaves. This addition includes a ground floor tripartite sash window with a configuration of four, 16, and four panes, as well as a 16-pane sash window above, both with cambered heads.
