Description

Church House is a house dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with 20th-century alterations. It is timber-framed with rendered and painted brick infill, a sandstone plinth, and a tiled roof. The building consists of two framed bays aligned east to west, featuring a west gable end stack. There are 20th-century additions to the east, with the entrance located through these later additions. The house has two storeys and on the north front, there is one 2-light casement window and a half-glazed door set in a lean-to. The framing appears fairly complete, with four square panels extending from the sill to the wall-plate.
