Description

Dormington House is a late 18th or early 19th century house. It is constructed of brick with a tiled hipped roof, and is two rooms deep, featuring a central entrance and end stacks. Later additions to the east and west have resulted in lean-to roofs. The north front has three storeys and a central pediment. Two string courses run along the facade, dividing the elevations. It has three glazing bar sash windows on each floor, and steps lead up to a central doorway with a panelled door. Single-storey wings flank the main house, each with a canted bay window.
