Description
This is a mid-19th century milepost located on the south side of the A 438 in Stoke Edith. It is made of cast iron and features an angular head with three divisions. The upper triangular section is inscribed with "Stoke Edith Parish," while the lower left division indicates "To Hereford 6 miles" and the right division states "To Ledbury 9 miles."
