Description

Milestone, probably from the early 19th century, made of sandstone. It is a segmentally-headed pillar that stands about 2 feet 6 inches high. The pillar features incised lettering that reads: "TO/ LEDBURY/ 6/ MILES/ HEREFORD/ 8½/ MILES".
