Description
This milestone, dating from around 1830, is a round-topped pillar made of fine sandstone with a tooled edge. It has been later painted and features incised lettering in sans-serif capitals. The inscription around the top reads "HEREFORD," and below it, "24/ MILES - GLASBURY / 1 / MILE."
