Description
This milestone, dating from around 1830, is located 1 mile northeast of Llowes. It is a round-topped pillar made of fine sandstone with a tooled edge, which has been painted later. The pillar features incised lettering in sans-serif capitals that reads "H[ere]FORD" around the top, and below it, "22/ MILES - GLASBURY / 3". The top of the milestone is damaged.
