Description

Vicarage House is a two-storey building with a cellar, constructed in dressed local ashlar sandstone featuring margin-draughted stone dressings on the south facade, while the other sides are made of rubble stone. It has a hipped slate roof and an 'L'-shaped plan that includes a central stair hall flanked by reception rooms. The dining room is located in a wing behind the right bay, which is extended by a kitchen in a slightly lower roofed bay.

The entrance is marked by a Tuscan portico with a reeded pulvinated architrave, leading to a five-panelled door that is set deep within panelled reveals. The building features sixteen-paned sash windows, each adorned with pronounced label mouldings above. At the time of inspection in August 1995, the property was not accessible, but it was noted that the windows have panelled shutters within splayed reveals.
