2 Albert Terrace

2 Albert Terrace is part of a terrace of three cottages built around 1840, as shown on the 1843 tithe map. The cottages are made of colourwashed stone and have slated roofs. Each cottage features two bays, with a panelled door and a margin glazed overlight. The ground floor has twelve-paned sash windows, while the first floor has nine-paned sash windows. However, in No. 3, the ground floor window has been replaced with a 20th-century window. There are three stone chimney stacks, which have been heightened with brickwork. At the rear, there is a continuous lean-to that has also been heightened in brickwork after the roof's pitch was reduced.
