Milestone. Early C19. Painted cast iron. Triangular plan with canted top, with inscription in relief, "BYFORD/ PARISH". Left-hand side "TO/ HEREFORD/ 7/ MILES". Right-hand side, "TO/ HAY/ 13/MILES". Illegible maker's name on right-hand side of base.
