Description
The Old Pavilion is a house, later adapted for use as a cricket pavilion, dating from the late 17th to early 18th century, with alterations made in the early 20th century. It is timber-framed with rendered infill, set upon a rubble plinth, and has a shingle roof. The building is two bays wide, aligned north/south, with a lateral chimney stack to the rear (west) wall, constructed of rubble with a brick shaft.
The east front has a single storey with a gable-lit attic. A verandah with a cat-slide roof is supported by five wooden posts. There are two windows: a three-light casement to the left and a two-light casement to the right. The entrance is located in the right-hand corner, with a ledged and boarded door. The timber framing consists of three square panels high.
