Description

This milestone, located at National Grid Reference SO 475373, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is made of sandstone and cast iron. The stone stands about three feet high and features a segmental head with a cast iron rectangular plaque that has raised lettering stating "TO HEREFORD 3 MILES." The milestone is positioned across the A 465 from Goldenpost, which is not part of this listing.
