Description
The Twerne Lodge is a house that likely dates from the late 17th century or 18th century. It features a sandstone rubble plinth and a timber-frame structure with brick and plaster infill. The building has two side stacks, one located towards a corner, and consists of three structural bays. It is one storey high with an attic, and has two windows with 2-light 20th-century casements, three on the ground floor and two in gabled 20th-century dormers. The central entrance is also a 20th-century door. The timber frame consists of two panels from the plinth to the wall-plate, with diagonal struts near the door.
